Commercial - Lancing Sailing Club

Our clients for this property would like to fully modernise the external appearance of the sailing club, as well as making this work in a more contemporary way and making sure that people can socialise enjoying the amazing views. The building is uniquely positioned, located on the shore of lancing beach, with full panoramic of the sea views. A sense of connection to natural landscape and beach is a key design factor for this project. The current building is fully enclosed to the amazing views, the proposal is to fully refurbish the interior of this facility to provide all members with changing facilities at ground floor - directly connected with the beach - and a large open plan bar / restaurant at first floor opened to a large balcony and extended first floor. Externally, the proposals are to sensitively modernise the facility with a glazed front to maintain a strong relationship with the lush views and the shore while allowing natural light to flood the interior of the building.
