Private Home - East Preston

The brief was to add a two storey rear extension to this house in the private Willowhayne Estate of East Preston. We provided our client with different options for the complete renovation of their home. We enjoyed going through the process with them, we renovated the front of their home in a traditional style, in-keeping with the street, whilst the rear is a contemporary transformation with a double roof overhang and a fully openable ground floor open plan kitchen/living/dining to the garden. As part of the brief, it was important to provide our clients with a good connection with the garden at ground and first floor. We proposed a first floor balcony, and a large void above the stair as the main features for this home.
